I'm in.  Started officially on Tuesday.  Down a few lbs already.

I'm excited about it.  First cut in over 2 years.

Weighed in at 272 at my comp on August 9; tipped the scales at around 266 this morning.

Many may know of my cut. As i basically called myself out for becoming a fatass

Still chipping along and actually will most likely extend out a few more months


The thing that has sucked the most is the feeling of losing size.

Im getting used to being hungry alot so that is passing

Im trying to get to a point where my bodyfat is manageable. That way any future gains will not have me to go through a drastic cut again. Unless i choose to, of course.


So far progress has come, albeit slowly.

I forgot to add. A huge part of my goal is to get that "pop" when i flex.
The 70's big look for i use to shoot for just had me looking smooth and honestly just portly

Easiest thing for me is to be hungry during the day while I am at the office then eat a big dinner and never go to bed hungry.

Good luck guys.  I'll join in eventually.  For now, I'm trying to carb cycle a little bit.  Basically, I eat what I want on workout days and cut out carbs on off days.  Sure does make me look forward to training days.

My advice is drink gallons of water throughout the day.  It helps deal with hunger issues.  You might want to stop a few hours before bedtime though or you'll be up a lot.

Such misery.

My own fault.  Time to pay the piper.  I made some bad choices, now I have to fix things. 

I started on Tuesday.  Haven't lost an ounce.  I know, it's only 3 days. 

A couple weeks ago, I started to prepare myself psychologically and kind of gear up.  I have a plethora of great low-cal recipes lined up for my lunches.  I've switched from cream to skim milk in my coffee.  And much to my surprise, I've actually enjoyed laying off the sauce during the week and getting to bed early.  Go figure!

It'll be months and months - maybe even a year - to take off all the weight I've put on the last 2 years.  I'm trying to look to short-term goals, like fitting into my old jeans by Christmas.  One day at a time. 

Good luck cutters.  I'll check in with my successes and occasionally just to commiserate.  lol...  My boss knows I started a diet on Tuesday and she's got a good sense of humour.  I signed a couple of emails to her with "PS: I hate dieting"!

Thanks deej.  One thing I have to do this weekend is take my measurements.   :eek:

But I remember being glad of watching the tape measure move when the scale wouldn't move.

I worked from home 3 days this week and hit the gym all three days.  Lifting and cardio each day.  Talked to the boss today and my schedule is the same next week.  :)
