Nice work Eric.  It will get easier.  When I first started with giant sets, I was gassed at the end of every round and wasn't sure how I'd be able to make it through all the sets.  It didn't take long to develop the work capacity to handle them without feeling like death was coming for me.

Thanks Ron. Kind of figured it would take a while. It's like working on cardio.

Man those look like tough sessions. With limited rest and high reps I'd be dying. Nice job Eric.

Should be outlawed. Tempted to bring in a big plate of super smelly Indian food.

I've got a major imbalance in my right hamstring compared to the left. I've known about it for a while but haven't truly addressed it. With this program I'm hoping I can bring it up to the same strength level as my left.
Increased either reps or weight today. Will look at another increase in both for different lifts next week. I think I've just about got it figured out now.

Thurs Nov 16, 2017

PHAT
Back and Shoulder HT

Pendlay rows - speed pulling 45 seconds rest between sets
6x3x145

Seated machine rows - 1 min rest between sets
120x6x12

DB rows
50x2x12

Close grip lat pulldowns
70x2x20

DB shoulder press
30x3x12

DB upright rows
20x2x15

DB side lateral raise
15x3x15

I guess the good thing about the short rest between lifts and sets is I'm in and out of the gym in about 35 mins.
Felt pretty decent except I slept wrong on my shoulder last night so I didn't increase the DB shoulder presses this go around. Will next week.

Thanks Shawn.
I was hesitant to run it because when you look at it on paper it doesn't look like much. Running it is, obviously, another story and I am enjoying it so far.
