Doing a modified 5/3/1 this year.  Modified to what?  Basically I'm doing 5/3/1/1/Deload, step and repeat.  Liking it so far. 
This journal is starting today, as I have no desire to go back and put in stuff from before today.  I'm open to comments, suggestions, feedback, humor, and friendship.  I try not to take myself too seriously, although I'm probably too serious most of the time. 

Alright, enough of that crap...

Friday - 1/24/2014 - 12 Noon - Stayed home from work due to weather.

Felt pretty good today. Squats were heavy, but do-able. Pretty happy with that progress.

Good job on the PR. Looks like you gave a lot of thought before dropping for the second rep. Pulled it out with good form too.

Thanks. I know it's small compared to you guys, but I'm making progress.  My thoughts during the delays between descents were preaching form to myself.  Tense the abs. Back straight. Face forward. Below parallel. Drive with heels. Etc. etc.  And lots of huffing and puffing!!  ::)
