Bando- DB's are the universal fixer upper.  When I got real bad anterior shoulder impingement, I switch to DB's for all chest work for about a year, shoulders healed and I never lost strength.

No elbow issues today! pretty sure it's the bar sink that's doing it so that's the end of that

pulled conventional for warm ups and attempted top set at 520, made it to the knees before my form broke down, which would have been a PR for conventional. Oh well

Since my CGBP has been fairly strong I decided to bring my grip in, I moved my pinkies about an inch inside of the rings, whereas I used to put my rings on the rings. It Felt pretty good and the bar moved decent, my tris burned out pretty quick though, probably bc I just hit them on Friday pretty hard.

Also messed around with some pull-up...tried not to kip at all and keep them strict and get my chest all the way up to the bar...did decent, got 8 good ones, legs stayed fairly still.  Vids on IG

Got to the gym.....my gym bag felt suspiciously light, get in the locker room and had no fucking gym clothes!! Contemplated lifting in my underwear, ended up hanging out at the gym sitting at a table, which worked out because I chatted with a young lady for over and hour which was nice.  I did look up a few times and my lifting partner was there lifting...but I think he was chatting more than I was so it must have been Jaw day.  I swear if I'm not there to bust his ass he loves to slack off and socialize.

Tonight, I'll be tossing in an extra set of clothes in my truck so this shit don't ever happen again, I can feel the gains slipping away

I keep an extra pair of drawers in my bag bc I have forgotten those on a few occasions, used to keep an extra towel in my truck for the same reason, now I need to keep a set of clothes.

Well, I WANTED to strart with dips so I could go heavier...maybe 4 plates....did 5 reps of BW and felt like shiiiiiiitteee!!  These are no good when I'm not warmed up so fuck it.

So, prior to this morning, I had never heard of nor seen these, watched some vids and they seemed good with some extra shoulder benefits so I gave them a whirl

These take a bit to get used to bc the ROM is so short, however I tried my best to get as much ROM as possible since these are also helpful for shoulder mobility.  About 10 seconds after each set I could feel my traps blowing up so they are definitely hitting the right area. I like them and I think I'll keep them in.
