Thanks! I am proud of my tricep progression I have noticed they got bigger. My biceps feel slightly bigger too but I still would like more size on them . Gonna hit them tonight and post an update! And i have heard that lifting at a young age like mine, 18, is a great kickstarted into the fitness lifestyle so I hope you're right! Haha

An update taken one hour ago.

Finally excited to see myself nearing the completion of my first goal ever ; acquiring a six pack. When I stretch my tummy I can see the 5 and 6 start to peek out. Give me two more weeks baby!

Just another update, took this today:

August 27:

Really happy with my progress; and I'm happy to announce that I am starting my clean bulk with my experienced buddy's assistance ( the one who got me lean in the first place) in one week. Be prepared for the transformations! Any advice on clean bulking?

^^^^ yeah, don't go crazy, remember that a "clean" bulk only refers to 200-500 cals over maintenance each day, and lift progressively heavier weights.

Been meaning to ask! What's a good rate to progress up for bicep preacher curls, and dumbbell press? Is 5lbs per 2-3 weeks a good rate?

Be careful doing that. That's how I tore shit up in my arm. I was jumping up 10 lbs or more a week for a while. One day I jumped up only 5 lbs and on my last set, 4th rep, something in my bicep felt like it was tearing off the bone.

Been messed up for a while now. Take your time progressing and don't push too hard too quickly. 5 lbs per 2-3 weeks should be ok but you'll have to gauge as you go. Maybe try adding reps before you bump up the weight.

Set a goal, like 4 sets of 10 reps with a certain weight. When you hit those reps then bump up 5 lbs overall. Good luck.

noted...

rep progression sounds safer

August 31: 3 days into my clean bulk I just started. I started at 149lbs 3 days ago, currently weighing at 154 lbs right now. raised from 60lbs on incline dumbell bench to 65lbs 3 sets of 10. plan to hit this for a few weeks and hopefully hit 70lbs 3x10 in 2-3 weeks.

apologize in advance for the spam, treating this as my sort of journal.. haha
