Well, since I'm banned from the other place I might as well do my sporadic updates here. Keeping it written down somewhere at least reminds me what I did a few months back, there will be precious few PRs posted here so don't feel like you have to post  any 'attaboys'  :-[

Today

Legs

Goblet squats, up to 200 x 7, slight pause in the hole , ass as deep as possible.

I duct taped one DB on top of the other resulting in the worlds longest DB - it actually works really well since the top DB is still easily (lol) grippable and the other one hangs down between my legs. As always, legs weren't even close to worked but my shoulders called it quits

High bar, slow squats with a pause (5 second reps.. yes, I time them) 4 x 8 with 275 - back let me know it was time to stop on the last set. Not easy :(

One leg horizontal leg press, 5 sets high high reps
Hams, Calfs

Something I can't post on the Other site, since well, it's retarded.. but since getting injured I dropped down to HRT test and 200mg NPP a week 'only'. Yes I know it's 400mg combined a week but I've noticed I'm softer than a babies ass after a couple of months on this. Literally every vein on my body has gone into hibernation and my waist looks decidedly more pudgy. Not a good look but I'm going to see if I can rehab into a shape I can be happy with on dose this alone. I deadlifted  655 many years back on a similar dose, but I don't know if I can maintain size the way I kept strength on such a low dose.

Getting older means re-evaluation of goals.. since I'll be 'on' my whole life I figure staying as low as possible is the best idea. Too many BBers dying recently, my blood pressure is good, but other numbers aren't great. If I can get down to 200-ish and single digits I hope I can be as healthy as possible and still feel happy about the way I look

Good to see you journalling here Halfway. Missed the great duct tape goblet vids.

I have literally ZERO understanding of hrt or the likes but to me it makes no odds. You still got to get your hands dirty.

Anticipating rehab and return.

You getting and trouble with numbness still? Or is that all sorted now.

thanks :)

DG, yeah it's much better now but sometimes the calfs and feet get suspiciously numb. I can never tell if its cramp, extreme cold (lol, I live in California so I shouldn't complain about winter cold) but it's a wee bit disconcerting.

The biggest 'win' was being able to do rack pulls last week, not really ver yheavy and just to the knees but there were no odd pains or spasms. I apparently have 4 blown discs, not just 2 I knew about - the other 2 are not badly herniated but they're on the way out. I also have a spondylordosis type thing where my lower back is dangerously jammed forward so spinal extension is not an option (which rules out most rehab exercises for discs.. sigh)

I need to minimize the overlap between lower back and squat work otherwise something will give. I'm going to alternate squats with belt cable squats for a while and see how that works. I was moving some ridiculous numbers on belt squats with the loading pin a couple years back (600x 20) so it would be nice to have a 'manly' lift to do again.

Bando, aint no-one lifting heavy weights around he-ah :(

Today

One arm DB floor pause press

up to 110's for 14 reps on both sides, then 85's for 3 x 15.

Cable presses for upper pecs

BW dips 3 x 8 (big win, not been able to do these since last years pec tear)

tris and lots of laterals

When you were struggling with tendon issues I was wondering if Deca would help.  Could not post on bb.com though.

Do you think t-supplementation had anything to do with your weakening tendons?  (suppressing collagen synthesis over time)   Seems guys who have been in the game a while all start ripping tendons...etc.   Something that scares the hell out of me.

I wanted to look into low dose deca to help maintain connective tissue health.   I have heard as little as 100mg/week will work.   I dont know how doseages translate between NPP and Deca (same compound different ester)  Is that why you are keeping NPP in?

Could be, I.d. Its hard to find good studies on decas actual effects on collagen .. In one study the actually injected it INTO the mice joints so no shit it didn't help.

I'm keeping npp because I have an almost lifetime supply of it at this dose. I used 200 mg deca prescription from my last hrt doc and I guess that was the same as npp, hard to tell... Coming off tren anything feels like its barely working.

You could try ghrp for the igf boost for tendon healing? From personal experience higher dose nandrolones lower my igf levels dramatically, hopefully this low dose npp won't

Yay me, back to three plates for squats

I used a slow negative , pause and a squeeze instead of a hard push and that made it easier to keep the lower back in the sweet spot. Not being able to Drive out the hole is obviously going to limit how much I can lift but hey, pain free works for me.

315 x. 8 top set, high bar blah blah

Smith lunges
Horizontal leg press
Hams
Calfs on leg press

The other day was volume back day, thirty work sets of 12-15 reps with 2 plates a side on various hs machines then high rep rack pulls to finish

I'm not -that- big, but I added in 100mg masteron a week to offset the DHT lowering effects of the nandrolone.. will see how my next bloodwork looks if it's too much. My DHT has been effectively zero for years which is partly why its so damn hard to get / stay lean. LOL, yes I'm sure you're crying me a river right now.

Today

Low incline DB bench, not been able to do this since my back went a couple months back, so win.

65 x 8
90 x 8
105 x 8

dbbenching

110 x 8
90x 8
90 x 8
At this point I started running out of time (lunch hour workouts = suck) so I dropped the weight to get in the sets
75 x 8
65 x 8

Hammer flat, 2 plates a side, flexing the pecs to lift, 3 x 6

Laterals 5 x 10
Pushdowns 10 x 10
Rear delts 5 x 10

myspace angles and lighting , trust me I'm fluffier than a baby kitten right now

My doc is great, but I have to see him in person every 6 months since the government is gunning for him and he has to do everything by the book - on account of him being a leading HRT spokesman and here in the US testosterone aka 'killer baseball drugs' is still public enemy number one.

Since he's in LA and I live in SF its a bit of a pain , but worth it for the thorough workups he does.

I cringe when I see people on the 'other' forum asking about seeing a family dr or worse still an endo about TRT, but since I got banned for telling someone they should find a TRT specialist I wont be subject to reading that drivel anymore.

NPP is an odd fish, I don't really feel anything from it but I refuse to go over 200mg test ever again. Filthy stuff. But I still don't feel secure enough to just run TRT by itself without a side dish.. yet.

Interesting.... What is it about test that keeps you from wanting to go over 200mg ever again?  From what I have read, most guys consider it the base of any cycle.

In your other post about DHT, .... I am paranoid of DHT because MPB runs in my family.   I still have a full head of hair and would like to keep it as long as I can. ;)  (both grandfathers bald as can be in early 50's...dad pretty thin on top in his 60's)    I know guys who run DHT derivatives say it gives them great hardness and vascularity, but do you have concerns of hair loss?   I know some guys are not susceptible to it, but I dont think I would take my chances.

I wish there was a trt doc here - I know D should be on a monitored trt, but it's a 6mo wait just to see someone who knows what trt is, let alone knows how to monitor it.
...& the irony is the rules on use are much more relaxed here.

Can you jump over the border for an "aging clinic"? I jumped over into Kingston to have my eyes fixed.

Sorry to derail..

I would do some research, the shadier the "clinic" the cheaper it will be ;)
