3 sets back extension, 3 sets abs (trying to solve my squat issues)

Do you know what caused the sore neck? Looking back a couple of days in your journal nothing jumps out that would cause a sore neck  :dunno:

Squats....thinking the core is causing problems?

I think it was throwing around the 105's, didn't feel anything go wrong, just was painful all of the sudden. Finished the session because often little aches and pains just go away. For squats that's what the doc recommended.

Lats got some work today. 

I don't think I've done those, but there was one gym I went to that had a dual low cable machine that was awesome.  You could criss-cross them and really work the back because you had to pull the handles across the chest.

I was also routinely benching 275 x 5 with no spotter not too long ago  :'(
