Hmm, does anyone have a video of my 3rd bench attempt that includes audio confirmation that 335 is on the bar?

Side note...

Due to her 995 Total at this Meet, Sabrina qualified to compete at the Arnold 2018.

SO, that's Rheta's Meet in October, and the Arnold in March 2018.

Bando, if there's a pic, or a vid, I can confirm the amount on the Bar.

How does one determine if they "qualify" to lift at a certain event, such as the Arnold???

You check your total against what's on the XPC Page.

XPC is a league within RPS.

I'd have to total 1755 at 242 to qualify.

308 class, Raw, 1815 total.

Not surprised Sabrina qualified, she is strong as hell!

I noticed they raised all the raw qualifiers for XPC again this year.  If by some miracle I start closing in on it (which would take a painful combination of me dropping weight classes and adding weight to the bar), they'd probably just keeping adding another +50 and move it farther away again lol.

What's really tough, is as strong as she is, she didn't even make the PLW list for women.  Those numbers are just amazing to see.  A few years back, it was rare to see strong women at a Meet.  Now, they're really showing there own.  You're on the right path, Kel, don't give in.

Yep, then you realize that there are limits to what is physically possible.  I'm working to build into the 275 class a few lbs at a time.  So, I won't have to worry about my weight when I weigh in.

I look at PLW, and I just have to be happy with progress that I make.  Otherwise, I'll land in a tailspin.

Only trouble with plw is if the meet directors do not submit your #'s they never get it right if you submit on your own.  The last meet I did isn't on there, and it puts me in a pretty good position on the squat, deadlift, and total.  I never even come close on bench.  It makes no difference if it gets posted on there other than an ego boost for me.

My PLW subscription expired, which is fine because I don't even want to think about those numbers right now  ;D

XPC has been on my radar of goals.  My ideal lifting weight actually seems to be around 160-165.  Below that, I start getting pretty darned lean and my joints start complaining.  Above that and my leverages on deads and squats suffer.  My goal has been to get back down to 160-165, and from past experience, I should be able to maintain my current total down to that weight.  If I fix the rest of the physical crap that's holding me back, I wouldn't be surprised to have a total in the ballpark of 750@165.

For XPC though, the aim would be to try for 855@148.  Not completely impossible in this lifetime, but nobody hold your breath either :P

Oh well.  Currently working on (1) drop weight back to 160's and (2) fix physical crap.  We'll see how successful those two things are lol.

That's odd, as every time I've submitted records for myself and various other people, they've never missed it.  As well, every Meet I've been a director for, I've submitted the records and they've posted it.  I feel it's honestly a disservce to the lifters if they don't submit them.  When teh guys that run PLW used to have more time, they'd collect all the results on RPS website, and Ame didn't have to submit them.  Of course, that'd take sometimes 3 months.  So, now, everytime one of my lifters competes, I make sure to get them loaded.

I'm the same with you on Bench, I have to bench well over 400 just to get on the list, and that's not likely any time soon.  As well, there's a lot of guys that get to the Masters, and just become "Bench Only".  Which means I'll never catch them.

Great Goals, Kel.  Always nice to keep striving forward and working there.  I work through alot and still have my goals.  One of which is buying Flex a Round after I beat him at a Meet....
