600 lb squat, natty, and you guzzle beer

un fucking believable (in an awesome way).

Amazing the both of you.
I'm really impressed with Lisa as she has gone from a lifting noob to doing 2 meets and doing well in a short period of time.
Props to both of you!

Actiually this was Lisa's 3rd meet.  :D

And yes, beer guzzling powerlifter FTW.

Saturday afternoon/evening I had two 7% IPA beers at the restaurant, then 10 tall cans of Stella and 3 regular sized beers at the hotel before going to bed at about 9:30pm.

That's the equivalent of 20 beers.

:)

Thanks.

I plan to drink at least as much beer next comp and pull/squat 625.  Hopefully I can squeeze a few more lbs onto my bench too.

#1500+ for the big 3 is nothing to sneeze at, I can count on zero fingers the number of people I have seen at the gym pull off either a #600 squat or DL.  A #330 bench is not outstanding but certainly nothing to be ashamed of, hell I wish I could hit 3 plates but best to date has been #285.
Just keeping upping your squat and DL and fuck the bench.

IDK Greg a paused 330 at a comp is pretty good especially considering the squat/DL numbers. I don't see many people able to do all three well. One always seems to lag behind.

Im with you on the 600 lifts. Ive never seen anyone in a local big box gym do it. At my new gym its a norm  :P

I've seen a couple 600 DL's, I've never seen a 600 squat, hell even a 500 in my gym. Used to see my buddy Josh box squatting 405 x 10 which was pretty amazing at like 190.

At one of my gyms its actually common place for guys to be benching a hell of a lot more than that, 2 of the guys actually warm up with #315 but very true that you never see them squat or DL anywhere near #600. Usually just one trick ponies is all they amount to.

Bump this up. Looks like 2017 Spring Supremacy has been moved to Utica ( about an hour away from Syracuse ). The facility it will be in a crossfit gym. I went there to train w/ Ed Coan. I was trying to figure out why it would move and thought maybe there is a rift between Hercules Gym and RPS. Hercules posted a meet coming up and that it would be an XPC qualifier. Then I saw a post by Gene stating unless a meet is on the RPS calendar its not a XPC qualifier. Just guessing here.

Hmm, I saw retribution had been moved to Utica, did not realize this one was as well. Isn't Utica known for it's beer breweries?

Gene gets upset when a Gym he hosts an RPS Meet at, hosts Meets from another Federation.  I know Rheta doesn't affiliate herself with one particular Federation, but Gene usually gets bent about little things like this.

It wouldn't surprise me that he moved the Meet because they had a disagreement.  As Owner of RPS, it's his right to do so.  In my eyes, I'd rather work out something and host the same Meet at the same place multiple years in a Row.  The Meets gains notoriety if it's repeated multiple times in the same venue.
Do not fear The Iron, for it does not care.

Oh I agree- Genes business he can do as he wishes. An upcoming meet scheduled at Herc is listed as an XPC qualifier and seeing Genes FB post last night got me thinking about it. Rheta doesnt need the attention at Herc. She will do just fin as will Gene in Utica. The venue it is being held at is nice (except the parking is going to suck). Sucks for me though. 5 minute travel time to weigh in sure was nice  8)
