You're really making some good gains with this program Andrew. The coaching and a good eye for form corrections seem to be really helping. I'm looking forward to seeing what you can do in april.

Great looking workout yesterday Andrew. :)  It looks like you're coming along well with all of your lifts man.  Those squats looked strong as hell and that bench looked super smooth.  You're really trucking along with your RTS training.

thanks guys, im surprised with the near linear progression i've been able to do with squats. Bench seems like its starting to move too. Deadlifts not so much, but i always do them the day after heavy squats. If i deadlifted fresh it may be different

trained at Untamed Strength in Sacramento and got to hang with Alan Thrall a bit. Nice guy, he knew a bit about RTS training and said my session was free due to the "RTS" discount. Mentioned his training with barbell medicine is very similar, high volume and frequency.

Deadlift w/belt
380x6 @6
390x6 @7 back pump
405x6 @8
405x6 @9.5
405x6 @9

Grip issue i had last week are gone, did all this strappless and it was fine. Tough session though, i got a crazy low back pump on the second work set and it made the 405 sets feel tougher.

3ct Pause Bench
185x4 @6
195x4 @7 vid
205x4 @8.5 PR, E1RM 241

Skipped the front squats, because front squats suck and I had a 3hr drive home. I've learned this day 2 session of each microcycle is by far my least favorite day every week. All this deadlift volume the day after the 5 sets of 6reps on squats is challenging and leaves me drained every time

That's so cool you got to hang with Alan. I enjoy his vids. Love the pic too.

Great looking session. 405 for sets of 6 is no joke. Pulls are looking pretty good. I hear you on the front squats. After the deads those would be tough. Nice work on the bench too.

So jelli of training at untamed Strength! Loved the pic! Hard session with the high rep sets of 405! Looked strong as faak though!
That's tough hitting heavy deads after a heavy squat session the day before. Guess I'll be doing the same thing as well on a couple weeks. Actually been doing it with TSA but always tried to put a day off in between the sessions

Great looking workout yesterday Andrew! :)  I'm glad you were able to get in there and train at Untamed Strength.  There is something inspirational about that place and Alan is a really nice guy...plus, I love his choice in music. :D

Nice job on the Deadlifts.  With all of those heavy sets of 6 it's no wonder those deads gave you a low back pump.  Way to get it done.

thanks everyone, it was killer to train at Untamed. Its a great gym, not too big, and set up for powerlifting. Alan was training when i was there, it was cool to talk with him between sets. Thanks Greg for getting me his contact info

the 6 rep sets of deadlifts are no joke. I will be glad when this block is over and i can pull some higher intensity sets of less than 5 reps. The other thing is i'm not too sure the E1RM calculations are very accurate for me with higher rep deads. I usually can easily pull more than what my E1RM for a 6 rep says when i pull a single.

just like last week, felt tired today. The Monday/Tuesday combo on this block drains the fuck out of me for the whole week

Pin Squat, beltless
280x5 @6
290x5 @7
300x5 @7.5
300x5 @8
300x5 @8.5

E1RM PR of 376lbs. Upped weight all work sets 5lbs from last week and was able to stay in the prescribed RPE range.

303 Tempo Bench
190x5 @7
195x5 @7.5
205x5 @9

E1RM PR of 245lbs

Parallel handle landmine row
plate weight only
70x10 @6
80x10 @7
90x10 @8
90x10 @8

switched to landmine rows with the parallel handle because the pendlays are causing pain in my right elbow. It almost took the whole week for the pain to subside last time i did the Pendlays

Pin squats looked strong Andrew. That`s great the weight is still going up. They do look tough though. The rest of the workout wasn`t too shabby either. Is your e1mr for tempo bench or just bench in general?
