Thanks Shawn. I'm happy with things so far as long as I survive the volume I'll be ok.

Seems like over 5 reps on bench is the killer for me. Gotta work on the stamina.

I like doing the paused. I can feel a little out of control sometimes if I try go too fast.  Besides, as the old expression goes "train like you fight"

here's the vid of yesterdays session. I wouldn't mind your trained eye on my deads Andrew. If you don't mind. For the most part I don't think it's too bad.

Thanks Dave. Things are moving fairly well right now so I'm pretty happy.

No pulling on the hammies today during squats so I think I may be ok. Still keeping an eye on it though.  Good day overall. I felt a little gassed after squats but I survived another round of 7's cardio.  I didn't think OHP was going to go as well as it did. I'll have to up it a little next week and see how things go. Got the bar humps in today and upped the weight a little. I'm not a fan of them but I do feel it working. Between squishing the junk and getting into position they just kind of suck. Oh well.

working sets

230 x 4 x 7 vid set 2 and 4

seated ohp

125 x 3 x 8 @ rpe 7.5 - 8  vid set 1 and 3

narrow cable row.

185 x 4 x 10 @ rpe 8

bb glute thrust

245 x 3 x 6 @ rpe 7

thats it. Finish week 2 on friday.

Great job buddy, handled the 7's strong! Bar humps suck for those reasons you listed bigtime,  but agree they feel like a very effective accessory.
