Grats again Lisa and to you too Kelly.

Hopefully it's a quick recovery for ya Jim. FWIW there is no way you'll rope me into a mankini with your new BB endeavors  :P

(grats on the bench PR, I think our bench is finally the same :( )

I really hope he gets better, because I do not want to see that dude in a mankini.   WTF is wrong with you, now I have that image in my head.

Wow....had not been following this thread, but really awesome to read and sh!tty at the same time.   Congrats to all those that competed.

@Flex.....give it a little time.   The depression can be very real when you get injured.  Dont let it eat you up.  Make sure if you tore something....start rehabbing NOW.   Light stretching, massaging...etc.   Having been through a few good tears (never more than grade 2) I can say I bounced back from all of them.

As for the decision to switch up training, I can lend some perspective....but now is not the time.   I am sure you will do well at anything you decide.   You have a great partner in life, and an injury is only a temporary set back.   Best wishes.....

Thanks, all.   Now that the chaos has died down and I've had a few days to sleep it off, I'm crazy enough to be looking forward to the next one.  In 11 weeks  :o  WTF I will be able to improve on in 11 weeks is anyone's guess.  ;D

Flex, hope you're continuing to feel better!

Did anyone get my 340 pull on vid?  No rush to post anything if you did, just curious.  I was too lazy to pass off my phone to anyone for videos at this meet, lol.

I am feeling a bit better today.  I could actually get in and out of the car without making audible noises due to pain.

Kelly I have your 340 dead on video with Avenged Sevenfold's "Almost Easy" playing in the background.  :rocker:

I'll upload it tonight to the server and send you a link so you can download it.

Thanks Flex for the vid!!!  Oh damn, that went up way better than I'd thought :o  Now I'm kind of surprised 350 died on me.  I hate to say it, but do you have the 350 on vid?  Kind of curious how far I got it, although I know it was below my knees.

Thanks again Flex, you're the best!

Actually really interesting to see the 350 fail, I think I see what killed it.  After the bar got stuck the first time, it started coming up faster on the left than the right, so when it got stuck the second time I was mid-knee on the left and below-knee on the right.  Bar coming up faster on the left is actually from the posterior chain imbalances I'm still working on, so there ya go.
