Worked up to a 225 single which felt pretty slow. 
Tried for 245 and it got halfway up. 
Lowered to 205 for a single.

Overall pretty good session.  That comp bench for reps was tough.  Tried to tell myself the commands on each rep but that got a little tiring as the sets went on. 

Deads, touch and go bench, front squats and some sling shot work on Tuesday morning!

Why? I had the TV on in our bedroom and the newslady kept saying "it's 7 am" "it's 8:05 am" rolled out and looked at the clock, 11:20 am  :o Guess I needed 10 hours of sleep :S

You're still killing it in here Shawn!  Especially on those deads man.  How are you liking those pin squats?  They are much harder for me than paused squats since they make me lose tightness.
Thanks Ron, feeling pretty strong all around starting into my prep. Deads are going well, hopefully some rep PR's over the next 9 weeks will be there for the taking.
I really like the pin squats, teaches me good positioning, I have always struggled with my form so exercises like this are perfect for me. Yes I do find pause squats much easier than these for sure

Notes: good day, was definitely not mentally in the game today after 2 nightshift brain, but had a goal of hitting 365x4 on squats and got it. Form got away from me on the last rep but was pretty much done there anyway.
Bench was ok, bit loose on the 255x4 set. Started too high on the 3ct paused bench and was 1 and dun. No fatigue sets this first week so hopefully shake a bit of fatigue from last couple weeks.

Good looking workout yesterday Andrew.  Sorry to hear about the back man...hopefully that gets back to normal quickly for you.

Nice job with the SlingShot.  I've been using mine once a week for a while now and it really seems to help build up the strength.  I think that'll pay off big time for you.

thanks. the back is feeling a little better each day. still walking around a bit hunched over, i think the muscles back there are just tight right now. The slingshot was fun, hopefully there is some carryover :D
