Thanks Shawn. I need the practice with wraps and confidence. I don't need a repeat of what happened last year. ::)
I still remember that and honestly think that my third attempt miss had a lot to do with me not being comfortable in wraps as well. We will both be ready this year buddy!!

Here's to being ready!!! No more wapping 5 seconds before my lift ;D Although I did wrap quick. I'm sure you'll nail that state record this year. Oh, and I weighed myself today and it looks like I'll be competing at the same weight as you. It wasn't intentional but there you go. I think I'm about 198.7 this morning. Could be the reason I'm wearing down quick. Could be just and excuse too ::)

Thanks Shawn. Lots of volume for sure in the first few weeks. I honestly don't know which weight class I'll end up in. I'm not actually trying to cut at all. Just seems to be that way. I'm back up a bit today to 201. We'll see how things shake out. I would rather compete in the morning though as opposed to the middle of the night.  :o

That's a lot of weight in a week. I didn't realize it was that much. I don't think I'd have that much to loose. We'll see how things go. If I'm within a pound or two the week before I'll see what I can drop. Training is hard enough for me, I don't really like doing it in a deficit.


Had an Okay day today. Squats went fine but have I mentioned that I hate volume?!?! :panic: Next week scares the shit out of me but I'm sure I'll survive. I always do.  Wrapped is feeling okay although I'm not really heavy yet.

Awesome work Rich, that set of 10 looked killer! You earned youíre platinum man-card for doing wrapped sets after, which by the way looked fantastic and very smooth!

Thanks Shawn. It is a nightmare isn't it? The first emom isn't too bad but the second day is sheer terror. 10 sets is just terrifying. Once it's done I'm pretty happy though.

It's a grind but doable for sure if you put the right numbers I to start with. I don't think I'd want to pad any of the numbers. I think Shawn can attest to that and how much tougher it can make things.
