Comp Bench
1@rpe 9, 4 sets of 3@rpe 8

1 x 235, the rep itself went okayish but butt lifted so rep wouldn't have counted
3 x 215 rpe 8
3 x 220 rpe 9.5 ugly last rep again. Big jump in rpe for just 5 lbs.
3 x 205
3 x 205

Pin Squats
3@rpe 8, 3 sets of 3@rpe 9

3 x 225
3 x 245
2 x 255 - kind of lost this rep on the pins and got way forward. Ugly rep
1 x 265 - went up well but slow.  easy rpe 10.  I don't learn lol
3 x 245

OHP

Just did a bunch of sets of 5.  Didn't go above 95 lbs.

Not the best in terms of moving weight today.  Felt tired and sluggish going in and the workout showed it.  Got it done and will come back stronger next time. Overall just not my day today.

Deads, touch n' go bench, slingshot bench and front squats on Monday!

Overall just not my day today.

A lot of those lately as well, hopefully everything will feel right when we're lifting the green plates that count.

You moved some Iron and that's what counts in the end Dave. We all have those ugly days. Still killing it though.

Those days happen Dave. Just check the box and move on. You've already done more than 95% of everyone else and consistency pays off.

It may have not felt like it was your day but the important part is you got in the work needed.

That's the ebb and flow of training. It's great when things are going good and you're riding that wave but then all of a sudden shit can crash and things feel like crap lol.

Appreciate the support as always guys! Thanks! Had a bit of a turnout today :)

Comp Deads
1@rpe 9, 3 sets of 3 @rpe 8

1 x 405 rpe 8.5  went up real quick.  Slowed down at lockout a bit but was a no doubter right from the floor.  Planned opener :)

3 x 385
3 x 385
3 x 365

Touch and Go Bench
3 sets of 3 @ rpe 9

2 x 225 rpe 9
2 x 225 rpe 9

both of these reps felt fine but positioning sucked and racked although I could've had 3.

Slingshot Bench
3@rpe 8, 1 @rpe 9

3 x 245
1 x 275

Went back and did a triple with regular touch and go bench with 225 that was an easy 10 by rep 3 lol Got my 3 reps anyway!

Front Squats
3 sets of 5 @ rpe 8

5 x 135
5 x 135

Fuck front squats :P

great session Dave. 405 is killer and then you accumulated some good volume with those 385 sets. I hate front squats too. Thats why i ordered a SSB, just so i dont have to do them...lol.

Comp Squats
1@9, 3 sets of 3@8
Warmed up to 295 beltless.  I'm aiming for 295 to still be my opener at the end of the month.  I'm getting very comfortable with this weight.

1 x 315 rpe 8.5 on the way up I tilted to the left a bit and I'm not really sure why.  It obviously made it a bit heavier than it needed to be.  The weights itself didn't feel all the bad.

From here I decided to do my walkouts.  Big mistake.  Worked up to 455 and was all proud of myself until I decided to start doing my volume sets.  Fucking hell! Just completely zapped of energy.

295 x 1 - got way forward on my rep and barely got it back up.
275 x 2 - same.  Grinder
250 x 3 - that's the stuff.  Fuck!

2 Count Paused Bench
3@9, 3 sets of 3@8

3 x 205 rpe 9
3 x 185
3 x 185
3 x 185
Paused Deads (inch off of floor)
4@7, 3 sets of 4@8

4 x 275
4 x 315
2 x 335

Just done at this point.

Bit of a gong show of a session today. I am officially done with walkouts.  I did them too early, got carried away and it pretty much completely fucked the rest of my workout.  Live and learn.  Happy with the 315 anyway.  Hoping that little side lean to the left isn't an ongoing thing though on the way up.

Don't know about the Gong Show, Dave, that looks like a pretty good workout to me.  It looks like you got some good work in.  Doing each of the Big 3 in the same workout takes some balls my friend.  Nice job getting it done.

That is a pretty interesting hip shift with that 315. Has it happened to you in the past or just a one time thing?

That 405 pull looked strong and and props to "One". It's one of my all time favorite Metal songs.

I've never noticed it or felt it before so hoping it was a one time thing.  The bar came off the hooks feeling a bit off so I actually wonder if I wasn't really centered under it.  Either way yeah it was odd, new and hopefully a one time thing.  Gotta love some Metallica :)

eta - I just watched it again and I was definitely setting up with it leaning a bit as well.  I didn't notice at the time.  Too focused on not fucking it up I guess lol
