Anyone else get super freaked out before a meet. I have a meet on the 26th. My training was in the toilet, but has been going great the past month. Then, there was yesterday. A week out from the meet, and everything felt heavy as hell. My plan for the meet is 400,425,450/ 275,295,305 / 425, 465, 475+. I may go up on the bench, but the third attempt in squat and dl would be pr's. So, yesterday a 410 squat, and a 455 deadlift both felt like max effort lifts. I almost bailed on the squat and it literally felt like the hardest squat I've ever done. I hope I was just having an off day, but man the meet is in my head big time. I have a bench night Tuesday, then it's pretty much deload time.
Anyone have any advice on how to get there mentally?
