August 29th 2015 is the day. Doing this meet at 198. A lot of big names in the roster already. I will be posting some videos with the training routine starting next Saturday. I will be away the whole week so no hardcore training.  Im still doing some  dough!

Check the video from last week. The channel is also new. The logo and the name is the name that Im planning to use for the gym that im opening in 7.5 years from now. I cant wait to retire from the Army...

Awesome, 1MR!  I'm looking forward to seeing your training leading up to the meet.  I've been kind of winging it so far try different stuff, but I always seem to miss that "peak" where I overcompensate and come in stronger than I was.

Post the URL to the video that you find in the address bar.  It it has "https" in it, delete the 's' to make it "http".  The video shows up for me.

*Not too bad. Those 325 felt heavy as ssssshit. I guess that's what happen when you don't bench heavy for aprox for 3 months...Oh well, 12 weeks out and counting. Sunday is SSB day.

Amazing 1MR!  I've found that the bench is the first to go on a layoff.  For just coming back to heavy weight, I think you are in a good spot for your meet.

I think so too. My last deadlift session was fast too. I did squat 425 and deadlift 405 about three weeks ago at Westside. Both lift were good and fast but didn't want to go any heavier because was the same week as my Army Physical test. So far (IMO) is looking good.

Is alright. Works better for people with shoulder problem and stiffness. I'm using it for prevention. I feel a lot  better and tighter with the straight bar. But I am going to wait until wk 6 to bring it up.

Damn that is some fat chains!  I was going to pick some chain up at a hardware store, but i don't think they have that size.  I think 5/8" was the thickest they had.

That bamboo bar looks fun and scary all at once.  Especially doing JMs!   How's the PVC hold up?   Is it regular sched-40 or 80?
