Forgot to mention, went to the doctors for my follow up visit for the BP issue. Tests came back good minus having high cholesterol (dafuq?) anyways BP is still high. Stage 2: sleep study!

This workout was one that took a lot more mental determination than normal truly not one of my finer workouts that’s for sure. There was a lot of frustration with my lack of performance. Reflecting on this past weeks training I feel Wednesdays accessory day worked against me rather than for me. Moving forward I’m going to attempt leg accessory work after squats rather than on a different day, this means having to be at the gym earlier. This goes for deadlifts as well.
TFGIF!

Uggh! Things started so well...until I got to the 380. However, on a good note 360 felt pretty damn good alot better than week one of this cycle.

Currently down to a stable 209 lbs on the scale. That's now 12 lbs in the past month! Craziness! For those that follow me on myfitnesspal you know for a fact I'm not starving myself to make this happen nor am I doing any cardio (minus work of course). Granted some was water weight, but none the less pretty stoked about it!

Tomorrow is my day off, but I'm going to go do some deadlift accessory work, stretching, mobility stuff, blah, blah. I'll most likely do the dead accessory work and give up on the rest :P

So dead stance box squats, yates rows, and Leeman deadlifts (modified RDL).

Thanks! I never thought of my OHP being all that great to be honest. Then again I'm constantly barraged with seeing guys do OHP with 250 lbs + for reps...hell I seen one guy OHP almost 600lbs (via youtube of course). Seeing this all the time shows me how weak I am and how much more I have to do in order to be considered strong.

 But again many thanks! :)

Yeah, but I don't see many guys doing much weight with a strict press. See a lot of peeps loading up the bar and doing a push/press and call it OHP.

I won't lie, I had to go and watch a youtube video to know what a push press was  :P

To be honest I try and be as strict as possible but nearing the last couple of reps on a heavy set there is a little of leg work involved, not to the same degree as a proper push press but there is some.

Today’s bench day went well minus one small issue…I was supposed to get 7 reps with 240 and I was certain I hit the mark but I miscalculated and finished one rep early. Thanks to Flex for the spot and pointing out I only hit 6…fuck! I brought my one rep max down by 5 lbs. That’s ok though I’ll make it up next cycle. :)
