 Ran outta time

First gym session since the comp. As many of you are aware I'm quite certain I had tore something while on attempts 2 and 3 for deads at the meet so I've been gun shy in returning so soon. Well my restlessness got the better of me and I gave it a go. I'm happy to report that minus having a NASTY back pump after the deads the workout all in all was good. The pain I had been receiving in my groin area has settled quite a bit. I feel it now and again when I have to pee or something but that's about it....so I'll take it.

I'm just taking it day by day and we'll see what happens. Let's hope it isn't anything that is need of surgery or something weird.

(As a day after note: still feels good...but man my hams are killing me!...in a good way)

 Speaking of the competition....

I'm taking the remainder of the year off from competing and I'll be concentrating a little more on hypertrophy style training and dropping some weight. This isn't to say I won't be strength training or anything, I will be but with more emphasis on hypertrophy (volume).

We shall see how it all goes.

-Bench-

Barx10
135x10
185x3
225x6
225x6
225x6
225x4 -----I got distracted and fell out of the physical "groove" and almost tanked on the 4th.

-Lat Pulldown-

135x12
135x12
150x12
150x12

Split, ran outta time.

I would have done more on the lat pulldown and some OHP but I got to the gym late and lost out on time.

Today's workout was shifted to tomorrow.

I barely slept last night, by barely I mean a few solid hours at best :( So tonight I hope to hit the hay early and be ready for tomorrow's training.

-Cardio-

Close to 1000 tires were picked/packed/unloaded/and set into place from our warehouse to our new off site warehouse by yours truly and my summer assistant. There was no fancy equipment or procedures involved. It was as dirty and old school as it gets. So hours of rolling/throwing/kicking/chasing/and being beat on by these tires as we got them from point A to point B in a cube van.

I truly don't remember the last time my arms were this fatigued.

To think I get to do it all over again tomorrow.

 Hurray.....FML.

I worked in a diesel shop for a couple years. As the newbie I got to stack semi tires, then I got to change them, repair them and balance them. Glad I got past that point after a while and actually got to start working on the mechanicals.
Twice a week we got tires in and I don't believe I've ever been that exhausted after stacking.
