20 of nearly anything can be a humbling attempt. I have done some really light weight squat for 20 reps once, and it was unpleasant.

What happened to your squat?  I thought you were doing sets up in the 200's for reps?

OHS = overhead squats. I would like to do 200's with OHS but that's gonna be awhile.

Jacked today, shoulders, arms, chest all felt like they were gonna pop. Got on the scale PWO and lost 2 lbs, walked through the locker room with beast pump engaged, feltgoodman.

For what it's worth...throw out this idea if you hate it.

If I were doing strength and quick lifts in the same session, OHS and power clean for instance, I'd do the Oly/technical/quick lifts first because of the technical demands. Squats are more forgiving with timing and coordination.

I don't consider them strength + Oly lifts. I consider the OHS's just good warmups for the Oly lifts. When I was running DC earlier this year I would run OHS's till failure as a warmup, then do a single set of traditional or front squats (DC style, rest pause till failure) as my working set. Also OHS's are not very forgiving, I've f'ed them up a lot, fortuneatly I've never actually fallen, just had to bail.

Shoulda got mad and tried for 1 more rep like yesterday's incline press fail ...

sore as a mofo, gonna try to fight my urge to lift and give my body a day off tomorrow
