got some upper body stuff done. Really odd, the barbell on the bench will not hold a 45 on one side without flipping off :S Either the uprights are too close together or it's an awfully light bar. I'm thinking it's a light bar because I was incline pressing "185" a lot easier than it should have been.

It would be because the uprights are too close together, being a standard bench,
wouldn't happen on an oly bench.I used to have a small octopus strap to hold the bar until it was loaded....I think you guys call them bungee cord.

awesome, thanks Pete!

Greg you get 2 sets in for a basement workout, then realize you don't have to wait for anyone, then you realize you pick all the music, gets pretty damn good after that.

All about getting shit started with a couple sets

I nere have to wait for anyone at the gym, at 2pm there aren't many people there other than cardio rats and I wear headphones so no problem with music either. Like I said though, props if you can manage it.

My only suggestion is to get more lighting down there. Made my dungeon 100x more enjoyable.  Got a real strong start there.

Nice pick up. I'm always on craiglist in our area looking for vintage stuff. Anything you are looking for let me know and I'll shoot the link to you if I come across it. Fwiw found a set of those BoFlex DBS for with stand for $150 for my buddy. Run into stuff all the time. I've actually turned down more weight than I've bought because I'm particular on the plates I want.
