Yup. Wow I didn't realize there was that much of a difference in US to Canadian currency.

There isn't.  Everything is just more expensive up here. :(

Today I go to pack my wife's stuff up in the car so I could take her to the airport for her business trip.  My bar was sitting on the front porch.  I thought I was caught red-handed as I brought it in the house and walked through the room she was in.  I guess she was too busy talking on the phone to pay attention since she never asked what was in the big, cardboard tube.

The bar is nice.  No more rattles and less slack to pull out of the bar for deadlifts now.  My cheapo bar had a lot of play in the collars.  I really like the feel of the bar.  Even though I put a generous coating of 3in1 oil on it, it has plenty of grip.

I'm really looking forward to tomorrow's bench session now.

Seriously Jealous!

I've a lot of nice bars in the gym, but a most are simple standard bars.  I'd love to get one for Benching and Deadlifting.
Do not fear The Iron, for it does not care.

A squat bar and deadlift bar would be nice, but at their prices, I'll need to hit lotto first.  brb... going to buy a ticket.  :D

I'm thinking she's been trained from all the boxes of Jeep parts that have shown up.  I guess eventually she'll notice that I have an extra bar in the basement.
