« on: January 28, 2018, 10:15:43 AM »
Itís time to somehow organize my bars. Anyone have an organizer at home or theyíve seen in a gym that they like?  Itís kind of getting out of hand.

That was more from my quest to find a set of collars that could hold for deadlifts than trying to have a set for each bar.  The OSO collars are the only ones I was able to find that hold up.  Occasionally I'll use two bars at a time when I super set so the extras come in handy.  The SSB bar needs special collars because it's under 2" diameter.  I'm holding onto the crappy spring collars for when I sell some weights off.  They'll go with the beater bar that I never use when I sell.

Which OSO collars? I see several on their website.

Thanks Ron.
I'm tired of the spring clamps and the old school 5lb ones are a pain to take on and off.

I have a kid at school that has been making gun racks.  I just got a grant from ALCOA for our weight room that is going to include some new bars.  I am going to have my gun rack kid  modify his design and pay him out of pocket. Figure it will get him something to show everybody he did, and keep the new bars straight.

When I finished my basement I used aluminum studs, so gun rack style is a no go.  Unless I make one like the diy one in this thread.

Ya, I'm lucky.  There is an old wooden frame from an old mirror he can use as a base.

Nothing I'd trust with the asshole that works out in my gym ripping bars on and off of.
