Too far for me, and I'm 5 weeks out from my next one.

You'll have fun.

I just got back from this meet.  It was pretty cool but I think they were very lax on the squat depth.

This dude was impressive though.  66 yrs old and deadlifting 400 lbs.  I left before his 3rd attempt so he may have went bigger.

That guy was stood in the entryway with a cigar in his mouth for a lot of the day.  Even when his flight wasn't up.

Here are some more videos I got....

That first squat would not have passed at RPS.  the up/down motion at the beginning and then the failure to hit depth.  Plus, I didn't even hear any commands other than "UP"

What are your overall thoughts on doing a Meet? Ready for New York in August?

yeah, I thought they were very lax in the squat.  And the bench didn't seem consistent in the press command.
I will do a meet but I'm not sure if I'll be able to make it to NY.  I'll know more as it draws near.  I will do at least one prior to that date though :)

Definitely would have been redlighted at RPS and that was weird with no commands.

That 66 y.o. dude pulling 400 was impressive as hell though.

Thats some old school shit. Hanging out smokin cigar, walks over does his lift and goes back to smokin cigar. Clint Eastwood and John Wayne combo right there.
