Looking to possible entry in a PL'ing meet later this year. RPS looks like the way to go as far as association is concerned.

Nice. I will be there. Depending on progress I make, may attempt my first meet. Still a ways to go on lifts though. But get the first event under my belt.

And yes, RPS runs a great meet. You'll enjoy the event. I'm actually posting this from the NJ Meet.

The only way to do it, is to step up and do it.

It's a lot easier if you've attended as a spectator, and if you have some friends compete with you it's even better. That said, all the "competitors" are super friendly, it's all about you doing your best that day.

Unless of course I'm outbenching DerAlta and Flex, then it's all about me beating them ;)
