he is.
Apparently, Gene turns to Iron Sanctuary, before his own chairman.
Do not fear The Iron, for it does not care.

And what a fat lot of help I've been.  Hey, here's some venues that aren't going to work for you.  Have you considered a steakhouse?

Sad Gene and Rheta can't come together on this. The venue works really well for meets ( big meet next Saturday too ).

Kind of a weird area, one thing I liked about Utica was that little diner next to the venue, great food actually.

Not sure what's weird about it TBH. Go 2 miles down the road and you have just about every type of restaurant one would need.

Haven't they brought in a guy with a huge grill to provide BBQ all day before? To me that's next level thinking.

I remember at the 1st NY States meet they had a bunch of massage therapists in training come in from a local massage therapy school - was pretty cool.

At the buffalo meet they were selling hot food.  Didn't partake because I can't lift with a full belly but I thought it was a good idea.

Herc? Ya they had cooking outside and this last meet they had about 30 pizzas for everyone (free). Not a bad deal.

Herc has had that too. Becki, who actually has her office in the gym for chiro and massage has set up at meets hosted at Herc.

IDK what the perfect venue would be tbh. I thought the place in Utica was OK as well as Rochester. I also just hit the meet and leave so for entertainment/eating I really don't pay much attention. After Aprils meet we drove back down to Cicero and ate at Tully's. :D

It would be this building where I work:

But they won't even entertain the idea.  >:(

Funny thing is I thought Risk Management would be against it, but they were fine with the idea as long as RPS had the proper insurance. The guy that manages the athletics facilities basically said "yes we have about twenty 4k square foot facilities, no you can't use any of them."  :o

Goes back to our organization being a club, not a team I guess.

I'd be worried they'd make me run laps if I missed a lift.

Extremely conservative 9/9 goals...
