Fairly serious lifting session there Ron. A 10 means top end right? That you didn't have another one in the tank at all, not even a partial?

Not a strong day on the squat front.  Felt heavy and hip ached a little.  Got them done though.kj  Probably should have worked up like I did day before yesterday.

Nice work Ron. I'd certaily be happy with 295 x 7. Squats are my worst lift.  Glad the hip wasn't too bad. Bench is looking strong too. I never noticed the difference in rpe for cgbp though. Just went with it. A couple of good sessions.

Sure I could have done a partial.  Just the eccentric  ;D  But yeah, there was no way I'd have been able to get another full rep.  Pretty much every set was like that too so I was pretty happy to be able to do all my reps.

I wish they had a forum over there at TSA to ask these questions.  I have a feeling there's some typos in it.

No real pain in my hip, but damn it felt heavy.  I knew my hip was there, but I kept my stance a little narrower and used my crappy Oly shoes to put more emphasis on my chicken legs.  Considering getting some better Oly's with a higher heel.

21 weeks until my next meet if they have the MD State meet again.  Turn out has been great, but the venues always suck because they are too damn small and no room to move around in the place.  Otherwise, it'll be 20 weeks until Syracuse.  Time to start planning.  I think if I run TSA again I'll have to tweak it just a little.  Maybe toss in some more RPE programming for the main movements.

Good session there Ron. Hope the hip doesn't keep acting up on you. Sounds like you have a good plan going forward. Since I've gotten my oly shoes I don't squat without them. I just really like how stable I feel with them. I don't know it they actually help but even if it's just a mental thing it was worth the money.

Really good session Ron and glad the hip held up for you.
Not sure at 178.8 you get to use the adjective "fluffy" for your weight under the profile anymore  ;)

Thanks.  I've been reading and watching reviews for shoes since I got home from work.  I will likely order sometime before the weekend as a Christmas present to myself.  The Adidas I have are too narrow an the heel isn't high enough.  I'd like to find some to try on  before ordering online.

Thanks.  I still have at least 10 more to go for my ultimate goal weight.  I still have  plenty of fluff around my waist even though my belt is out of holes.

TSA - W6D2
Conventional Deadlift
   350 365 x 2
   365 x 2
   365 x 2
   365 385 x 2 @9
Paused Bench Press
   235 x 4
   235 x 4
   235 x 4
   235 x 4 @10
NG Pullups
   18 x 6
   18 x 6
   18 x 6
   18 x 6 @9

Deadlift is the only one I have yet to have to grind out for TSA even though I've done more than the prescribed weight.  I figured I'd change that up a little today.  I think my issue is once the weight gets up close to my max I get tentative and wuss out.

New shoes tomorrow for use on Friday

Some nice pulls Ron. Deads are building nicely. I don't mind deads cause for the most part it's either going to move or not. Squats are where I get iffy once the weight is on my back. It's sometimes a challenge to start the descent.

Things are moving very well Ron! Strong benching and pulls. The deadlift programming should wrap up a nice PR for you on week 9. I honestly donít think there are any typos in the program, bench does some weird stuff the last few weeks, even the programming percentages change up in an odd way. Bryce appears to be pretty OCD (can tell by his pretty spreadsheets) so I think there is some behind the scenes wizardry in the program :dunno:

Great looking workout.  It looks like you are doing a lot more than your prescribed weights on the deads and killing it in the process.  I'll be interested to follow along in here and watch your progress with TSA.
