You're making me want to sign up for another meet soon.
Nothing wrong with that. :)

That's a fuckton of work for one weekend.  How come you always get stuck competing and working the same meet?

Also my best total is 1535.  :D
but not for long....come April it will be 1575 or better.  ;)
And I'll be pushing right behind you.
I always get "Voluntold" at these meets. In part, because there's no one else.  Or Gene knows that he can trust my actions and my calls. I'm trying to sort it such that I don't have to work on the day I lift.  Gene knows that, so he puts me in the first Session, and I am available the rest of the weekend.  The morning of, though, I did refuse to work in the flights that I was not warming up or lifting, so that's a small step.

I'll walk away, the moment I have to wrap myself in a Judges Chair, though. :D

Don't ya just love that hit by a truck after a meet.  :D

Is anyone doing the NY states in August next year or will be April and done?
With my wedding on May 1st, I'm trying to gauge if I should be lifting three days prior to it... Still feelign Sabrina out on that one. Also, we're trying to plan her competition around it.  With the boys and all we both do, we can't compete on the same weekend.   As it is, I'll at least convince her that I need to be there in April, to wrap Flex's Knees.  Give the old & broken guy every advantage he can get.

Sabrina booked me a massage yesterday.
As I lay there on the table and the young lady starts working on my Back, her first comment is "Holy Freaking Traps! They're Huge!".  Apparently, she's not used to working on fuscular men...

Near the end I started snoring.  Scared her one time, because she was working on my neck and I snorted, sound asleep.  We got a good laugh out of that one as well.

couch, cough... A little dusty in here...

Finally, getting back into the gym tonight.

I did get to sit in the Judges chair last weekend for Larry Wheels world record, and Kevin Oak's world record.  Judged a 1,010lb Squat as well.  Multiple guys squatting over 800lbs...  Was an awesome Meet last weekend on Long Island.

Now, time to get myself sorted and training back to proper levels.

Apparently, there's an old guy talking some smack.

It's in a Hotel, that has a good breakfast setup, and an restaurant right in the hotel. It's right off the highway, and not far from the airport.  You can literally, fly into Newark, cab it to the hotel, and you're set.

Plus, Gene brings the Light Rig and it's a Damn good show.

Do you think it will sell out?

I want to do the SS and don't know if I can do two meets in 2 months.

Go to Spring Supremacy, handle Lisa, hang with the Guys, come to the Rumble, attempt to Beat me.  Plan sorted.

No, I don't think it will sell out. So, you should be fine waiting until after SS to decide if you want to fly down.

Finally made it back into the Gym last night, after missing a week due to work, and Christmas Carnage.  I counted... I went to 16 competitions last year.

So, there were a couple of kids in the gym lat night, being "Trained".  Horrible form, horrible direction, the usual gamut.  I was of course, the Dick.  The Trainer is rowing 185, and the kids, 95.  So, I throw 275 on there and proceed to bang out reps.  Then Loaded up for Deads.  Pulled 455 for 5, and held the last one while I stared at the Trainer.

I have no idea why I was a dick, but it was probably related to being over-tired.

You won't be seeing them in NJ, will you?  :D
